The profession

The job, day to day

The executive assistant is a director's trusted right hand. The assistant organises the director's diary and travel, screens calls, prepares meetings, drafts correspondence and follows up files. The assistant is often the first point of contact for the company's partners, and that professionalism reflects the company's image. It is a demanding, respected and sought-after role in every sector.

The course teaches you how to organise a director's work: diary management, preparing and minuting meetings, paper and digital filing. You perfect administrative and business writing, office software and spoken communication, on the phone and at reception. You also cover the basics of management, business English and event organisation.

Role plays recreate the daily life of an executive office. You leave ready to assist a director or a management team in a company, a public body or an international organisation.
