The profession

The job, day to day

Every business, school, clinic or association needs someone to keep its administration running. The administrative officer handles staff records, purchasing and suppliers, mail, archives and internal procedures. The officer prepares documents, monitors deadlines and makes sure nothing gets lost.

The course teaches you how an organisation is run administratively and its main procedures. You learn mail handling and archiving, staff administration (contracts, leave, absences), purchasing and stationery stock, and keeping tracking tables. You master office software and administrative writing.

You leave able to take charge of the administration of a small or medium-sized organisation, or to join the administrative department of a larger one.
